The girls had a lot of fun decorating our gingerbread house. Zadie's favorite Christmas book seems to be Jan Brett's "Gingerbread Baby," so we have read a lot about gingerbread cookies and houses. The best part of the process was watching the way they both decorated their walls differently even when given the exact same frosting outline. Lia used handfuls of gumdrops and candies while Zadie placed them on meticulously one at a time.
