Confusing Decorations

Both girls have been very excited about Baby Jesus, Mary, Joseph, the Kings, and all the Christmas animals. However, they just don't seem to grasp the concept of stockings. Lia thinks they're hats (what doesn't she put on her head?), and Zadie apparently takes the term "stocking" quite literally and put them on her feet--though she promptly declared that she had them on the wrong feet so removed them.
