One of our beach house renters had purchased a book of great Oregon hikes and left it for us at the house. We hope to work through a few of them each time we come out. This 4.5-mile hike was supposed to be moderate in terms of difficulty. With a lot of very steep climbs, we tend to disagree with the "moderate" classification, but it was a very good hike with great views of the Salmon River and the Pacific Ocean.
