Gingerbread Houses

We made Gingerbread houses at a school party this year. The girls loved building and especially eating their projects. 

 

 

Gwendolyn made a candy land tree, but each time we added something to her tree, it magically disappeared. By the end of the night, she was standing up saying, "tummy hurt." Yes, Gwendolyn, we aren't just mean. We tell you not to eat everything in sight to protect you.

Christmas Cookies

We had some good helpers for making Christmas cookies this year. Their play dough skills are really starting to pay off. And, Z and L are getting better at cracking eggs. We have some future bakers on our hands. 

 

 

 

Once we finished, we had Annie and Levi over to help decorate and eat them. 

 

 

 

Arboreteum

We had lovely weather at the Arboreteum this week, and got lucky with some face painting. 

The littlest saw her favorite letter from across the field. She shouted "G!" Not bad for a not-yet-2-year-old.
